Airbrush in the world of Art
The Origin of the Airbrush.technique is indisputable.The first Airbrush - Spraygun was invented by Abner Peeler , an American Jeweler, in 1879 and was patented in April 1882.
The very first examples of this Airbrush - technique goes back to the Stone Age Human Being , wich were used in a very primitive Method. By the Cave -Paintings in Lascaux in France were be found lots of these ''Hands negative'' Pictures ,which were presumably sprayed through so primitive devices as tubes or hollow bones with color pigments.
The first painted Airbrush - Artworks were rejected by some Art Gallerys because they were painted with a ''non artistic Medium''.
From around 1970 AIRBRUSH is understanded as an Art Direction.
Today , Airbrushing is not restricted anymore.
It is fully accepted in the World of Art. Some incredible Airbrush -Artworks are collected in Museum- and Private Collections , and can be used in a lot of different Ways. From Illustration, Fine Art , Mural Art and not to forget the Section of Custom Painting on nearly every Surface.
